Why do you need the Market Update?

Because of the Editor’s work on The August Review, many people have asked, “What can I do to stay afloat?” The August Fore­cast is a response to those folks who have invest­ments but are con­fused by the mar­kets and how to fore­cast their behavior.

The Market Update is nor­mally posted in the after­noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The size of the update varies between 500 and 1,000 words so it rarely takes more than 5 – 10 min­utes to read each Update. This is impor­tant to many sub­scribers because they don’t have a lot of time to spend reading long doc­u­ments. Every effort is made to give you the bottom line in lan­guage that you can easily understand.

Every Market Update will have com­men­tary on one or more of the fol­lowing: Stock market, gold & silver, com­modi­ties and cur­ren­cies. In addi­tion, each Market Update will usu­ally con­tain some com­men­tary on Eco­nomics, Pol­i­tics or Social Trends.

The type of tech­nical analysis used on the var­ious mar­kets include Elliot Wave Theory (Elliot, Frost, Pretcher) and Speed Resis­tance Lines (Edson Gould). Other stan­dard market indi­ca­tors and sta­tis­tics may be used as well. These value of these methods have been proven over many decades of use and devel­op­ment, and con­tinue to be very useful in today’s mar­kets as well.
