Consumer spending has fallen off a cliff while consumer savings is shooting upward, thus prompting cash-for-clunkers to prompt spending. Wall Street investment houses are the derision of the world as they figure out every way possible to bilk the government of taxpayer money. The market is still trying to find the top of wave A prior to a pullback of substance; still, we are close to the end of Primary Wave 2 up.
